I folded 1.5 c. strawberries into the cake mix and baked it without the crumble topping. Delicious! Ate it warm with whipped topping. Tasted just like strawberry shortcake. It does turn out VERY MOIST but we're ok with that.
I used to use the Lea and Perrins sauce for chicken, but I can no longer find it. Any suggestion for a substitute?
